The noncompetitive BC Virtual Science Fair is open to students in grades 4 to 12 across BC and the Yukon! Students can receive mentorship on their project through virtual project interview sessions with experts in their field, and be entered to win gift cards – check it out at connectingideas.ca

Donate a prize
We welcome the following prizes, to be used in random draws for students who complete Project Interviews with mentors:
- Gift cards/certificates to online retailers, local stores and restaurants
- Museum/gallery tickets or memberships
- Physical prizes
- Monetary donations for the Science Fair Foundation of BC to purchase digital gift certificates for online retailers (e.g. Amazon) to provide to students as prizes
As our participating students range from cities in the Lower Mainland and Greater Victoria, to remote areas within BC and the Yukon, we welcome both digital prizes that can easily be accessed by students regardless of location as well as location-specific prizes that encourage students from your local community to participate.
As a registered non-profit charity, we are able to issue tax receipts for any donations made.
All prizes should be sent to the Science Fair Foundation of BC for distribution – instructions for how to send the prizes will be sent to you after you fill out the form below.
