For my project I wanted to see if I could create a more environmental energy source that wouldn’t harm the planet. I tested two different water wheels to see which would generate more electricity than the other. They both had different designs. One was an all wooden water wheel that looked similar to the water wheel that was used century’s ago, and the other was a recycled bicycle wheel with reused plastic bottles. I had them both connected to a multimeter and motor which was all connected to a wooden stand to keep the wheel in the water. Overall, in this experiment I learned that the more even shaped the wheel is, the lighter, and bigger the wheel. The better results of generating electricity… (specifically in Watts).
