Baffling Bacterial Growth on Magnificent Masks

Our question is, if masks grow bacteria over time, then which types of mask will be the most resistant to potentially harmful bacterial growth? In our project, we tested three types of masks, fabric masks, surgical masks, and N95 masks. We swabbed each mask at 30 minutes and 6.5 hours after wearing. We also swabbed control masks of each type at the same time intervals. We plated the swabs and counted the number of bacterial colonies that grew on the agar plates.
