My Project is an experiment based on the difference between a hydraulic brake and an air pressure break. Air pressure breaks are already on real world vehicle’s but the hydraulic brake has not yet been put on a real vehicle. I wanted to see which brake was more efficient, more powerful, more faster etc. So I designed a wheel using a Dc motor, a battery box, cardboard, a wooden plank and a wooden block. I designed the brake using a two syringes a pipe and water. First I put water in the syringe and pipe and did the hydraulic part of the experiment and then I emptied one of the syringes and the pipe and did the air pressure part of the experiment. In the end the hydraulic brake was better. I am going to see if I can make the air pressure brake as good as or almost as good as the hydraulic brake.
