Globally, more than 264 million people of all ages suffer from depression. People suffering from depression experience conflicts with family, anger, loss of hope, loss of appetite, disorientation of health, thoughts of suicide and death among many others. An AI-Based wearable system to monitor and improve mental health, in short: ‘Improove’ is a specialized app and a wearable device which will help in tracking and providing a better mental health. The app component of Improove can be downloaded on one’s phone and give suggestions for multiple tasks known to improve mental health. A lot of the DSM – 5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition) surveys, suggestions and well known tips and symptoms for poor mental health are also embedded in this system to provide the best improvement for one’s condition.

The solution also consists of a wearable device, which looks like a digital smart watch, working a lot like a fitness watch, tracking heart rate and blood pressure. It is also capable of tracking sleep cycles, bringing the heart rate to normal if a big deviation is seen and providing data to the app for connectivity to the user. The app is made using android studio and java; the wearable is made using 3D printed parts and other essential circuitry.
